I got the DDJ-FLX2 with the laptop stand bundle, and the stand is a nice addition—keeps my laptop at eye level and saves desk space. The controller itself is the same compact, USB-powered unit that works well with Serato. The 8 pads are handy for cue points and loops. For the price, it's a good starter package. However, the controller's limitations remain: the jog wheels are small and not great for scratching, and the plastic build feels a bit flimsy. Also, there's only one mic input. If you're just learning to mix, it's fine, but don't expect pro features. The stand is a plus, but you might prefer a sturdier third-party stand.
