Our take
As a scratch DJ, the DDJ-REV7 feels like it was built for me. The motorized platters provide that authentic turntable feel, and the layout is intuitive for mixing. Having 16 pads gives plenty of room for hot cues and samples. The built-in echo effect is a nice touch. However, I was surprised to see no manufacturer warranty—at this price point, that's a letdown. The included case is a bonus for transport. Overall, the performance is top-notch, but I'd feel better with some warranty coverage. If you're serious about scratching and can overlook the warranty issue, this is a solid investment.
